In music this week we creatively responded to sections of 'the planets' suite by Gustav Holst. We listened to parts of 'Mars', 'Venus' and 'Uranus' and drew along as the music played and used colours, symbols, pictures or shapes to represent the music. We really enjoyed sharing our responses with each other. We were interested to learn that the 'Mars' section of the planets suite has inspired other composers; it inspired John Williams' 'Star Wars Main Theme'.
