School policies cover every aspect of school life. Below are some of our most important policies for your reference. If you want to know our policy on something that is not listed, please ask the school office.

Galley Hill Primary School & Nursery has a number of policies. Please contact the school office for further information or support. All policies are reviewed on a rolling programme​ and approved by the governing body.

GDPR

We are committed to the General Data Protection Regulations and as such have appointed a Data Protection Officer (DPO) - Mr Richard Maskrey. He can be contacted via dpo@galleyhill.herts.sch.uk

Public Sector Equality Duty Statement

Galley Hill is committed to their Public Sector Equality Duty and the need to:

We have produced our Equality Policy to share our equality information, and this, along with our Accessibility Plan, will be updated annually. These documents can be found in the list above.

In addition, we have our four year equality objectives, which form part of our Equality Policy. These are:

Equality Objectives 2020-2024 

  • To ensure that the school’s commitment to equality continues to be communicated to all members of the school community.
  • To improve the attendance of SEND pupils.
  • To implement the revised Relationships education curriculum.
  • To actively promote BME role models, including through increasing the number of employees in this group as appropriate, and find opportunities to celebrate other cultures.
