In May 2024, it was announced by the Department for Education that all schools should have a Music Development Plan. This was part of the National Music Plan, which has been given the title 'The Power of Music to Change Lives'. A link to this national music plan can be found below.

At Galley Hill, we believe firmly in providing all children with a broad and balanced curriculum. We see the real value in ensuring high quality music education for all children. As such, we have now created our school Music Development Plan and very much look forward to implementing all of our ideas to raise the profile of this subject.
