Hi Nursery!

Our Topic this half-term will be Festivals and Celebrations.

Important Notices this week! 

Monday 4th November - 

• The children will be having their individual school photograph during their nursery session today. 
• 3.15pm-3.45pm - It is Open Classrooms - This is a time when you can bring your child back into the classroom so they can show you all the things that they enjoy and they can show you their wow wall.  

This Week's learning: 

This week we will be learning about the book Sparks in the Sky.  Here is a link - Sparks in the Sky | Twinkl Originals .  This week, we will be focusing on Autumn.  We will be talking about the signs of Autumn.  We will be going on a walk to see if we can spot the signs.  We will also be looking at the autumn things you have brought in from your Autumn bags! 

Our Nursery Rhyme of the Week will be 5 Currant Buns.  Here is the link - Five Currant Buns.

On Wednesday, we will be taking part in PE.  We will be learning to take our shoes off and on.  We will be learning how to use the hall safely.  

Number of the Week - 1

This week we will be starting to introduce the children to our number of the week.  We will be thinking about what the number is and how we can show it, using fingers, drawing and objects.  We will also be looking at Number blocks to help us. Our Word of the Week is the word Autumn.  We will be learning about all the signs of Autumn.   

Library will be on Monday.  Please ensure your child has their orange reading book and their library book so we can change it.
