PAYING VIA SCHOOL OFFICE

Please send all monies into school in a sealed envelope.

  • with the child's name and class.
  • the amount enclosed.
  • what the money is for.
  • any cheques should be signed and dated (made payable to Galley Hill Primary School)

Email/Text service

The school office runs a email/text service to inform parents of events and school closures, so please ensure you keep the school office informed of any changes to mobile numbers & email addresses.

Absences

If your child is going to be absent from school due to illness, please phone the school office. Children should not be taken out of school for holidays during term time as this disrupts their education. If the absence is unavoidable, an application must be made to the school using the Leave of Absence form which is available from the School Office.

Lateness

In the event of your child being late for school, they should come to the school office where you should complete the late book and the office staff can take lunch orders.

Emergency Contacts

It is essential that the school is kept up to date with any changes to a child’s emergency contact details. Children do fall ill during the day and occasionally accidents happen in the playground, with the result we would need to contact an adult who will take responsibility for the child.

Please note that our school site is a designated NO SMOKING area.

In the interest of the health and safety of the children, we ask that you do not bring your dogs onto the school site.
